Police Investigate After LI Employee Accused Of Stealing $3K In Items, Cash

Police have asked the public for information about an employee of a Long Island business who was accused of stealing cash and items worth thousands of dollars.

According to the Suffolk County Police Department, in January, Kayla Moore stole cash, lottery tickets, gift cards, and cigarettes while working at the Speedway, located at 640 Montauk Highway in Bayport.

The cash and merchandise stolen were valued at more than $3,000, police said.

SCPD said detectives are searching for information about her current location.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
